TOYOTA (NIGERIA) LIMITED RIDES HIGH AT THE LAGOS CHAMBER OF COMMERCE AND INDUSTRY (LCCI) AWARDS.
The annual LCCI award witnessed another night of glitz and glamour as notable individuals from the corporate world converged on the prestigious Muson Centre, Lagos where the event was held. Senior officers from the health, manufacturing, agriculture, education, real estate, banking, the diplomatic sector and others spheres of endeavour were in attendance.
Saturday May 14th, 2016 was the day set aside to recognize deserving sectors of the economy and nineteen awards were presented to different organizations. In the automobile category, Toyota (Nigeria) Limited lived up to its SUPERIOR QUALITY slogan. The company won the highly coveted and the only award in the automobile sector of the Nigerian economy; the High Standard in Automobile Service award. Managing Director of Toyota (Nigeria) Limited, Mr. Kunle Ade-Ojo who expressed his appreciation for the deserved recognition of the Toyota brand while promising his customers his unrelenting commitment to international best practice and excellent customer service delivery at every customer touch point. He subsequently dedicated the award to all his loyal customers.
According to LCCI, the metrics for selecting awardees cut across different considerations which include the positive impact the company made on the society through building increased confidence in people and wealth creation, compliance with set standard, regulations, level of disclosure, enhanced product and services through innovation for increased value and excellent customer service and service delivery.
Eminent personalities that graced the occasion among many others were the Deputy Governor of Lagos State Dr. (Mrs) Idiat Oluranti Adebule, who represented the Governor of Lagos State, Mr. Akinwunmi Ambode, The Speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Mudashiru Obasa, the Director-General of Nigerian Tourism Development Corporation, Mrs. Sally Mbanefo, President of LCCI, Mrs. Nike Akande who is also a former Minister of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, the immediate past president of LCCI, Ashiwaju Solomon Onafowakan, Chief Phillip Asiodu, a former minister of petroleum, to mention a few.
